| Mike McBurney -- Coordinator
After 18 straight years of full time school, I’m finally done…kind of. I am now working as a Teacher for the Richmond School District. I teach Social Studies and English at the secondary level at Burnett. I have been a Spirit leader from the groups inception ten years ago as well as being a Core leader for LIFE TEEN over the past five years. When I’m not working or doing youth ministry I enjoy playing guitar, golf, hockey and just about every other sport, watching the Canucks, or kicking back with a good book. |

| Felix Tan -- Web Administrator
Hi there, I am very thrilled to be the web admistrator for SPIRIT again this year! I'm a broadcast journalism graduate, , as well as an active member of the parish community, which includes being a lector at the 6:30 p.m. mass. I handle all "Computer Stuff" for this ministry. In my spare time, I am known to be an avid traveler! I would love to go on a tour of Europe someday! |

| Jiggy Ellorin
Hi! I'm Jiggy Ellorin. This is my third year at SPIRIT. I used to go to St. Paul's back when you pre-teens were in Kinder or Gr. 1. I went to VC afterwards (insert "Yeah VC" grunts) and now I am currently in first year Engineering at UBC. I love to do all sorts of physical activities but also like to spend some time by myself, letting my brain wonder...or just completely shut down. |

I am currently a first yea student at Corpus Christi and I attended SPIRIT when I was still in St. Paul School. In my spare time, I like to draw, paint, read, and play sports. If I had one super power, I would like to be able to read minds because I hate it when people have unreadable expressions on their faces. |

This is my third year being on the SPIRIT team, but it's my first as a leader; I'm former SPIRIT attendee, back in the days when I went to school at St. Paul's. I may have gone to school with some of you, so I get an advantage over they other leaders in knowing your names! I'm currently in first year at Corpus Christi College, and I couldn't feel weirder about being one of the older kids. I attend LIFETEEN whenever I can - pretty much when I'm not busy with schoolwork. I enjoy singing, dancing and acting. But singing is my love, and it's always around. During exams, there's always a song in my head - not good, doesn't get you anywhere and annoys you during the test. I hope to make SPIRIT fun and exciting experience for you guys!! See you there!! |

For those who don't know, my name is Pat G And I am one of your leaders in SPIRIT Preteen MinistryThis is my third year as part of this crew And just as always, I'm here to serve you. I'm currently in my fourth year of life after high school And I must admit, the new place I study at is pretty cool I hope one day to become a successful engineer To design buildings and bridges which people need not fear But in the meantime, I've got other interests too Which I give attention to when the school day is through I've got my family, my friend, and some hobbies I like To mix music, to play music, to skateboard and bike I give thanks to God for all He gives to me And for that I owe it to Him to be all that I can be Having said this I hope for one thing to come true And that is for me to try my hardest, and be always there for you! |

I cannot believe that it’s been more than seven years since I attended Spirit as a pre-teen! Since then, I have gone through Late French Immersion, the I.B. programme, and have travelled to Paraguay on a humanitarian project. I am now a second year student at UBC Science with a budding (haha...8-)) passion for biology. I love to play racquet sports like badminton, tennis and table-tennis...probably because I have reflexes like a trap-jaw ant (fastest reflexes in the animal world FYI......8-)). I still have SO much to learn about my faith and how to be a true Christian, so I hope that the upcoming year at Spirit will help both you and I draw closer to God! :) |

| Miguel "Oggy" Luistro
Being a student at Kwantlen University/College as well as an employee of Big Al's Aquarium Services, I've become pretty busy. This will be my seventh year as a Spirit Leader and I'm more excited than ever! I love being outdoors and doing outdoor stuff like kayaking, camping, and so forth. I love to sing, act, and dance, and I usually jump at any chance I get at doing these things. Not surprisingly, I'm also in the 6:30 p.m. Mass choir and part of the LIFE TEEN Core team. My favourite things in the whole world are fish. I've got five aquariums set up and counting. |

| Jason McBurney
My name is Jason McBurney, I'm 20, and I am currently in fourth year of Commerce at UBC. Some of my favourite hobbies are golf, hockey, soccer, and guitar. I'm a huge Canucks fan, and along with hockey I also enjoy watching football. I've been a member of St. Paul's church since I was born, so I have gone through Sunday school, PREP, SPIRIT, and LIFE TEEN. Did you know that the first letters of the months July through November spell my name? |

| Cecelia Ramirez
Hi everyone! Cecilia here and I am very excited for my third year with Spirit! I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you. I love music and I love having fun. It's always great to be surrounded by friends and family and at Spirit you definitely feel this. I'm currently in my third year at UBC and can't wait to see what the new school year has in store. :) |

| Peter Vetter
Hi! My name is Peter and if my name already appears somewhere else then I guess I’m just repeating myself! I am currently a fourth year student at UBC and this is my sixth year as a leader for St. Paul’s Spirit. I am looking forward to this new year along with all the new challenges and new people to meet, and I hope the I share the same sentiment with many others coming to spirit this year. On my free time I enjoy playing sports such as soccer, ultimate, running, biking and fencing. I also enjoy drawing and painting pictures and warhammer miniatures, I also like long walks on the beach…just joking about that last one, or am I? |

| Matthew Vetter
I am currently in my third year at Corpus Christi College. I enjoy reading, writing and talking. I also enjoy expressing myself through music, primarily playing guitar and piano. I like many genres of music, however I am very passionate about heavy metal and hard rock. I play many sports, especially soccer and hockey. |

| Christina Wong
Hey everyone! My name is Christina, just like it says above, and indeed my last name is Wong. If that confuses you, feel free to ask me at Spirit why someone who looks like me has a Chinese last name. I'm a fourth year student at Langara/UBC, pursuing a degree in Commerce, even though my passion lies in English and Literature (I don't know). Spirit and I go back a long ways, almost ten years I believe, to when I was at St. Paul's attending Spirit as a pre-teen just like you guys. This is a my sixth year as a leader and I'm really excited because we've got an amazing team who are all extremely thrilled to make this year a hopefully awesome and positive experience for all of you. |

| Elaine Yu
Hi! I’m Elaine and I’ve been a part of Spirit for about six years. Currently, I’m a fourth year student at UBC (who knows how I got that far). I’m especially interested in English, and Ancient Myth and Literature. I can be a bit accident prone (such as super-gluing my fingers together, or accidentally dying my hair black), but when I do something on purpose, I do it well! Anyways, did you know that my birthday is on the 5th of January and the letter E is the fifth letter of the alphabet? (So there’s no excuse for forgetting my birthday!). |
